Last updated 17 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Voncurr — the photography and film practice of Scott Currier (“we”, “us”, “our”) — handles information when you visit voncurr.com (the “Site”).
Information we collect
- Information you give us. If you contact us by email (for example, at inquiries@voncurr.com), we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message.
- Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our host records basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you view, in standard server logs. If site analytics are enabled, similar usage data may be collected to understand traffic.
- Cookies. The Site and embedded media may use cookies and similar technologies. See our Cookies Policy.
How we use information
- To respond to your messages and inquiries.
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site.
- To understand, in aggregate, how the Site is used.
How information is shared
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the limited service providers that help us run the Site, and only as needed:
- Hosting. The Site is hosted by our web host, which processes server requests and logs on our behalf.
- Embedded media. Films are embedded from third-party platforms such as YouTube and Vimeo. When you play a video, those providers may receive data and set their own cookies under their own privacy policies.
We may also disclose information where required by law.
Data retention
We keep inquiry emails for as long as needed to respond and for our reasonable business records, then delete or archive them.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, email inquiries@voncurr.com. You can also control cookies through your browser settings.
Children’s privacy
The Site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the most recent change.
